I am now seeking a qualified candidate who may be interested in taking
teaching/research position for the semesters of 2008 academic year.
This position is funded by the research project I am supposed to
administer through the aid of Korea Ministry of Information and
Communication (KMIC). Basically, the candidate is expected to hold PhD
degree with a strong ability to teach MBA courses in School of Business
Administration, Sungkyunkwan University (Seoul, South Korea,
http://www.skku.edu) and to conduct joint research paper works with me.
Details of this position is as follows:

(1) Nature of position
- This position is funded by the KMIC, not by Sungkyunkwan University.
Therefore, all the administration process is controlled by the KMIC.
- Currently, the KMIC is expected to support this position until 2010.
Therefore, successful candidate can manage his/her professional career
stably only if she/he shows excellent research/teaching performance during
tenure of this position.
- Candidate is supposed to teach MBA courses, doctoral courses, and
perform research works with me.
- Contract will be renewed on a yearly basis depending on the
teaching/research performance.

(2) Stay period
- 1 year (Jan - Dec 2008). However, the candidate's performance will be
regularly evaluated after each semester.

(3) Obligations
- During stay, the candidate is expected to teach MBA courses and doctoral
courses (IS-related subjects like Electronic Commerece, MIS, etc. Teaching
subjects can be negotiated.),
- Also he/she should join research paper works with me and supervision of
PhD candidates if possible.
- Performance will be evaluated regularly considering publication records
and teaching evaluation altogether.

(4) Qualification
- The candidate ought to have high quality publication records.
- The candidate is expected to hold a PhD or at least ABD. In case of ABD,
the exact date when he/she will finalize PhD degree should be notified
before joining this position.

(5) Compensation package
- 2 million Korean won (about US$ 2,100) per month (before tax). Tax will
be deducted from the salary.
- housing (will be provided a guest house on the campus- single
room),
- air ticket on a round basis (one-time only),
- health-care (dental care is not supported)
- No support for children education and family residence
- Another chances for additional financial support might be provided
depending on the situations. But this chance is just optional and not
official at this time.

(6) Miscellaneous
- This poition will be good for those candidates who are seeking
sabbatical leave position and want to develop research ideas by collecting
empirical data from South Korea market.
